If a man has wandering eyes, it doesn't mean he doesn't love his partner -- it's his biology at work. "Men's brains are wired to look at female shapes and this is why erotic images have so much impact on them," says Allan Pease, author of Why Men Don't Listen & Women Can't Read Maps.
"It's also interesting to note that in a public place like the beach or swimming pool, studies show that women ogle more than men," Pease points out. But because women are equipped with a better peripheral vision, they rarely get caught. On the other hand, "a man, lacking as he does good peripheral vision, turns his head to look and goes into a trance-like state."
